We have officially released the trip details for our tour of Boston and Cape Cod for those landlubbers who can't make the cruise. The 'Have a Ball in Boston' will spend 3 beautiful nights in Boston and 2 glorious nights in Cape Cod on June 8-13, 2017. Read the details and come join us. To participate in this fantastic tour designed for the ‘landlubbers’,
sign up to participate. There are
limited spaces available on this trip.
First, you must register with Duo
Designs, Inc. (me) to be included in the group and for needlepoint class
participation. From there I will forward the appropriate information to our
Travel Manager, Elizabeth Wolak,
Viking Travel, who will take care of all the traveling questions, reservations,
charges and individual needs.
DUO DESIGNS, INC.
REGISTRATION FEE:
A non-refundable registration fee
separate from the travel agent charges must be received by Duo Designs, Inc.
before inclusion in this specific group by the
travel agent. There are two
categories of registration fee:
Stitchers fee is $200 and non-stitchers fee is $150. A stitcher will receive the additional
benefits of the planned stitching activities.
All registrants will be included in all activities designed specifically
for our group other than the exclusive class project and teacher assistance (stitchers
only).
Optional specific needlepoint
class kits consisting of a trip-related painted canvas, threads and materials,
and an extensive stitch guide will be extra and will be announced once kit fees
are determined. Class kits must be paid for by March 1, 2017.
REFUND:
Should cancellation be necessary the registration fee will be refunded
less $75 and
only in the event that the
space can be filled by another participant.
NEEDLEPOINT
OPPORTUNITIES:
A needlepoint design is being
created exclusively for this tour. It
will be made up of a canvas fully detailed stitch guide with clear diagrams and
illustrations, all materials needed to complete the stitching of the design,
and the class time instructions of teacher Sandra Arthur. This is an optional class and must be ordered
and paid for by March 1, 2017.
Open stitching is always available
in the designated area. Sandy will make
as many appearances as possible to answer questions and give assistance on your
project as time permits. She will, after
all, be touring Boston as well with the rest of you and teaching the specific
class.

by check state so – registration will not be considered vaild until check has
cleared. Clearly state who check is for.

Join Sandy Arthur, of Lexington, Kentucky, nationally known teacher, designer and author of various
needlearts techniques. She is credentialed through the American Needlepoint Guild, Inc. Sandy’s designs have been published
in the ANG magazine Needle Pointers, as
well as the commercial magazines Needlepoint Now, and Cross Stitcher.
In addition to teaching at the local, regional,
national and market levels, Sandy also teaches cyber classes through various
guilds, and from her web site. She
has written and teaches
Correspondence Courses through the American
Needlepoint Guild, Inc.
She is the author
of the popular Shapes
of Needlepoint Series
I, II, III and IV for which she received
the prestigious Literary
Award from the American
Needlepoint Guild.
Sandy is a supporter of various
organizations through her membership and by serving in various
capacities. She is a former member
of the Board of Directors of ANG as the Director
of Seminars. In addition to multiple chapters of ANG, she is
a member
of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America, Inc., NAN, National Embroidery Teachers’ Association,
